Students with good attendance gather for picture wearing hats for hat day

Principal Assemblies are held at the end of each quarter. The first quarter Principals Assembly was held at the end of October. During the 4th-6th grade assembly they went over their awesome CMAS scores from last year as well as good attendance. They celebrated with ice cream donated by the booster club. The 7th graders (last year's 6th graders) were able to come down and celebrate with them as well. Grades K-3 went over Perfect attendance awards as well as Good Attendance awards. If you don't miss a day of school, you get a Perfect Attendance Certificate as well as your name put into a drawing for a chance to win a bike at the end of the year. If you missed less than two days, you get to wear a hat to school, one day chosen by the principal. We had lots of rewards to hand out and a lot of kids got to wear a hat! Keep up the good attendance Byers Elementary Students!
