The Junior High Track Meet that was cancelled today has been rescheduled for this coming Monday at 4:00 pm in Limon.
The Union Pacific League Track Meet is not happening today due to weather. The high school portion of the meet has been moved to tomorrow in Limon. As of now, the JH portion of the meet is not happening.
The Varsity Baseball Game against Clear Creek has been Rescheduled in Byers on Saturday with a 10:00am start time. There will be no Concessions.
Due to weather expected the rest of today and tonight. The Junior High dance that was scheduled for tonight, May 11th from 7-9pm. Will be posted to May 18th, during the school day. Thank you.
Attentions all parents, all bus routes are going to be to "Black Top Only" afterschool today. Cindy's bus #14 will only go to 181 and 42. Marcy's bus #10 parents will need to pick up their children at the school today. All other routes your driver has already contacted you. Thank you and sorry for any problems.
Tonight's music concert for the secondary school has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

We have added Girls Golf to our sports offerings starting in the 2023-24 school year. We had 10-15 girls come and show interest in playing golf for Byers. Now we are in need of some supplies to get them going. We were able to purchase a couple sets of women’s clubs from Play-It-Again Sports, but we are still looking for additional items. Some things we see a need for in order to get the girls going and possibly working on their game some this summer include.

Come Cheer on your child at Field Day!
Field Day will be on May 10th from 8:50 to 2:55 down at the High School Football Field.
The day will kick off with K-2nd grade starting at 9:00- 11:00.
Then followed by 3rd-6th grade from 12:20-2:55.
You do NOT need to check into the office unless you plan on taking your child at the end of the day.

1:00-1:30-Principal’s Assembly (Please join us in the gym for this portion-it will be fun to see your child receive any awards)
1:30-2:00-6th Grade Graduation (6th graders walk across graduation stage and receive their continuation certificates.)
2:00-2:30-Elementary Slide Show (Stay in the gym to view special pictures of your child throughout the year).
2:30-2:45-Refreshments for 6th graders (We will stay in the gym to enjoy donuts with the graduating 6th graders and their families. This is a great time to take pictures of your child).
2:45-3:00-Recess and End of Celebration (If you want to take your child home after the celebration, you will need to check them out at the front office.)
