Why: Congratulate and celebrate the 6th graders as they continue on to middle school!
What: (Times are approximate!):
1:00-1:30-Principal’s Assembly (Please join us in the gym for this portion-it will be fun to see your child receive any awards)
1:30-2:00-6th Grade Graduation (6th graders walk across graduation stage and receive their continuation certificates.)
2:00-2:30-Elementary Slide Show (Stay in the gym to view special pictures of your child throughout the year).
2:30-2:45-Refreshments for 6th graders (We will stay in the gym to enjoy donuts with the graduating 6th graders and their families. This is a great time to take pictures of your child).
2:45-3:00-Recess and End of Celebration (If you want to take your child home after the celebration, you will need to check them out at the front office.)

The Junior High Track Meet that was postponed in Limon (the Kiowa Meet) 3 weeks ago, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 2nd.

There is an update to the start time for the Junior High Track Meet in Strasburg tomorrow (April 18th). The Start time is a 1:00pm start time for that meet. Field events start at 1:00, running events will start at 2:30
The high school track meet tomorrow has been moved to a delayed start. The meet will now start at 11:00am
Congratulations to the Junior High Boys and the Junior High Girls Teams at the Byers Track Meet today. Both teams took home first place in the meet.

The NFHS Network people have deemed that the CPU that supports our broadcasts at the baseball field has gone bad. we will not be able to broadcast any further baseball games until their technicians come out and replace the unit. Sorry for any inconvenience.
