Hello,
This is your reminder that Elementary Field Day takes place on Thursday, May 7th at the Byers Football Field. Kindergarten, First, and Second grades participate from 8:50-10:50 am, while Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth grade go from 12:40-2:55 pm.
Participants are encouraged to follow the school dress code and dress appropriately for the weather that day. We also suggest that participants have proper athletic shoes, a hat, a water bottle, and come prepared with sunscreen or anything else they may need to be outside for a long period of time.
Parents and family are welcome to come and watch the events. Please stay a safe distance from each event to avoid being in the way of the kids as they compete in their games. Please, park in the football parking lot and enter in the gate at the northeast corner of the field. Our Transportation Department asks that you identify chalk lines and cones and please keep them clear of any obstructions throughout the day. These lines and cones will mark travel routes for our buses during the day, and if these are blocked it will keep our transportation vehicles from completing their daily work on time.
We look forward to seeing everyone out there on the 7th.
Thanks,
Coach Pelton
