Hello Students and Parents,
Byers High School will host the practice PSAT and SAT tests tomorrow, February 24th and Tuesday, February 25th. Students need to bring their school-issued charged computer and charger to testing. The schedule is as follows: Monday the 24th the juniors will begin the SAT at 8:15am and 9th graders will take the PSAT 8-9 after lunch. Tuesday morning will be PSAT 10 testing for the 10th graders. All testing will take place in the Music Room. Thank you and have a good night.

The Lady Bulldogs beat Limon 59-45 to move their record to 13-6.
The Boys Basketball team defeated Limon 58-55 to improve their record to 15-4.

Be a Secret Valentine!
The Byers Elementary Student Council will be offering a plush animal, a heart sucker, and valentines pencil for $5.00, to be delivered to that special friend to celebrate Valentines Day. They will be delivered February 13th, 2025 @ noon. Delivery will be limited to elementary only. If interested, please completely fill out the provided order form with your money attached and your classroom teacher can put the orders in Ms. Mohatt's box. Please, order by February 12th, 2025.

Good Job to the Varsity Boys Basketball Team as they defeated Arickaree 59-46 and Burlington 59-29 to move their record to 13-2 heading into the 8th week of the season.
Good Job to the Varsity girls on beating Arickaree 52-23, taking their record to 11-4 heading into week 8.
Update on HS Basketball Games tonight vs. Arickaree. There will only be two quarters played in each of the JV Games. Because of this, please plan on starting both varsity games earlier. Varsity Girls will likely start around 4:45/5:00 and Varsity Boys will Likely start around 6:15/6:30.

The water boil order for Byers has been lifted. Water is fine to cook, clean and consume.
The town of Byers is on a boil order once again for the next few days. We will provide bottled water at the school for your children, however, it would be good if you were able to send water with them as well thank you.
School for Tuesday, January 21 will be delayed two hours. School will start at 10 AM. Buses will run exactly 2 hours later than normal. There will not be breakfast served or childcare provided tomorrow morning.

Due to inclement weather and poor driving conditions, the junior high girls basketball tournament scheduled for Saturday, January 18th has been cancelled.
