The Baseball Games at Yuma on Tuesday, May 13th, will now start at 2:00 pm, due to Yuma not having any lights.

The baseball games against Crowley County will be played in Byers tomorrow, May 7. The order of games will be Varsity at 3:30, with JV played after. There will be a short Senior Night Ceremony between the games.

Field Day will be held at the high school track on Thursday, May 8th. K-2 events will take place from 9:00-11:00, and 3rd-6th grade will participate from 12:43-2:55. You do NOT need to check into the office unless you plan on taking your child at the end of the day. Thank you, Mr. Pelton for putting Field Day together.

Byers Kindergarten Roundup/Registration
The Byers Elementary Kindergarten Roundup/Registration will be May 20, 2025, for students new to Byers School District. If your child was enrolled in Byers Preschool Program you do not need to attend the roundup. Please call the Byers Elementary @ (303) 822-5292, ext. 1140 to make an appointment for the roundup.
On roundup day you will need to bring your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency (something with your name and physical address), and your child! Kindergarten students must be five years of age by June 1, 2025.
Byers Elementary Preschool /Registration
Byers Preschool Roundup/Registration will be on Monday 5/19/2025. Please call the Byers Elementary @ (303) 822-5292, ext. 1140 to make an appointment for the roundup. This year our Roundup/Registration will be held in the lobby of the elementary office. Registration packets can be picked up in the elementary office prior to roundup or the day of.
On the day of the Roundup/Registration, you will need to bring your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency (something with your name and physical address), and your child. Registration paperwork must be complete for your child to be registered and added to a class list. Preschool students must be 3 and 4 years old on or before 6/1/2025.
