'Tis The Season'
The elementary music classes, first through sixth grade, are proud to announce the date and time of their Winter Music Concert. This special evening of music will be held on Wednesday, December 18, beginning at 6:30 in the new gymnasium. Your student will need to meet in their classroom between 6:10-6:20 that evening. They will also need to wear nice dress clothes for the performance. The young gentleman can wear nice pants/slacks with a dress shirt while the young ladies may wear nice pants/slacks with a nice dress shirt or a dress itself. If you have to wear jeans, PLEASE no holes in them. Also, no tee shirts or hats. We look forward to seeing all at our evening of seasonal music.

Congratulations to the Byers Cheer Team on taking 2nd place at the Lamar Invitational Cheer Meet.
Volleyball All-League Games in Hugo. Byers players included Hope Linnebur, Maci Olsen and Karley Linnebur. Coach Fournier was selected to coach one of the teams.

Bulldogs Football Wins the First Round of State over Merino 44-14. Next up, a Quarterfinals Match-up at Mancos next Saturday at Noon.
Due to weather conditions, the football playoff game vs. Merino has been moved to Sunday at 2:00 pm. The facilities department could also use volunteers tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:00 to help shovel snow in order to get the spectaor areas cleared for fans. If anyone can help please show up at 1:00 with a shovel. Thank you.

The Playoff Football Game vs. Merino has been pushed back to a 3:00 pm start on Saturday. That allows us to remove the snow from the field as best we can and gives the officials, fans, and Merino better roads to make it to play.
Due to continued inclement weather and road closures the Byers School will be closed Thursday, November 7 all day. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Junior High Boys Basketball Games scheduled for this afternoon have been canceled.
The Byers School will be closed all day November 6th, thank you and be safe.
Schedule Change: JH basketball at Simla on November 12th has been cancelled. The JH boys A and B teams will now be going to Clear Creek that same day to play at 4:30.
