Whether you are new to our community or a long-time member, I want to share some important information with you. I serve as the Community Outreach Liaison here at Byers School District.
If you are new, you may have noticed the Student Housing Survey in your enrollment packet. If you’ve been here for a while, you may not recall completing it, but the form is always available for families to update or submit at any time.
The purpose of this survey is to provide information about your housing situation. It helps determine whether your student may qualify for support through the McKinney-Vento program, a state resource designed to assist families in transition. Participation allows me to better support your student with items such as school supplies, daily snacks, and, when available, seasonal clothing like winter coats or boots.
If you have not yet filled out this form, or if you’d like to update your responses, please complete the survey on the reverse side of this page. You may return it in your child’s backpack/Friday folder or drop it off at the office.
