This is my third year teaching at Byers Elementary School.  Prior to becoming a Bulldog, I taught kindergarten and second grade at an elementary school in Jefferson County for nine years.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado Mesa University in Elementary Education with a minor in English.  I then received my Master’s Degree from Regis University in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. 

 Three years ago, I moved to a ranch in Agate.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the small-town lifestyle.  In my free time I love to help out on the ranch, ride horses, go on long runs with my dogs, and read as many books as I can!  Another hobby of mine is running marathons.  My brother and I try to run one or two each year, each in a different state!
