Fall Conferences with Mrs. Pelton
BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Pelton joined the Byers School District in 2019, and this year will be entering into her 19th year of teaching. Becoming a member of the staff and community of Byers has been a welcomed and familiar adjustment, as Mrs. Pelton grew up in small town Kansas. Prior to teaching in Byers, she has taught elementary art in Garden City, Kansas and in Commerce City, Colorado, in School District 27J. Building relationships with students and teaching all grade levels within the school has always been one of Mrs. Pelton's favorite parts of teaching art. The chance to see the students grow and advance within an even broader spectrum in Byers is an opportunity that she is exited about.
Mrs. Pelton earned a Bachelor's degree in Art Education K-12 from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas in 2001. In 2011, she earned her Master's Degree for Arts Integration from Lesley University. Mrs. Pelton and her husband, Casey, have two daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, anything art, movies, music and sports.
