Hello, my name is Jessica Fournier and I grew up 6 miles down the road in Strasburg where I graduated in 2005. After high school I attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where I was a four year starter for the Mountain Lion volleyball team. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History with minors in Communications and Film Studies in December 2008 and from there attended the University of Missouri to work on a Master’s of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology. I graduated from Mizzou (go Tigers!) in May 2012 after working as a graduate assistant in the athletic department and stayed on with the Total Person Program as an Academic Coordinator working with Wrestling, Volleyball, Track and Field, Tennis, and later the Director of Enhanced Learning.
 
After my daughter Brynlee was born in November 2013 my husband, Jesse, and I decided to come back home to Colorado. We have two daughters, Bryn and Brooklyn, and two sons, Jack and Ronan. I am blessed to work at Byers where my primary responsibilities include being the Senior Class Sponsor, National Honor Society Sponsor, Student Council Sponsor, PSAT/SAT Coordinator, coaching Junior High and High School Volleyball, creating the yearly Master Schedule, and being the Postsecondary Readiness and Concurrent/Dual Enrollment Coordinator.
