My name is Laurie Clark and I live in Strasburg with my husband Tom. I grew up on a cattle ranch in North Dakota and moved to Colorado after graduating high school. After raising my two daughters Kendra and Kassia, and helping them through college, I decided to go back to school and get my teaching degree. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2014 with a B.A. in Special Education.
This is my 14th year in the special education field and my eight-year teaching. What I love the most about my job is seeing my students achieve their goals and realizing because they learn differently does not mean they cannot learn!
I enjoy spending quality family time with my husband, two daughters, and two grandsons. My hobbies/interests include scuba diving, camping in the mountains, big game hunting, bird hunting, and bird dog competitions with my English Setter.
